How it began :

My life revolves around my equine and canine buddies and partners. It is always so sad to lose a horse or dog as they do become attached and part of our lives. I have recently taken up making Real Horse Hair Bracelets and other jewelry. It all started when I lost a loving horse and my husband had with out my knowledge saved some of her tail hair. Just lately I decided I wanted to get some hair from my ponies to try to make a bracelet. Hubby gave me the special package he had for me and I braided it with tenderness and I absolutely love it. Shortly after that I mentioned on my FB I could do that for other people and right away I got a order for a bracelet for a acquaintance. She had saved some tail hair also so the rest is history. The response has been overwhelming. This being done I thought about the people that don't have horses, how can I share with them? Last night this idea came to me, make bracelets from Gypsy Vanner horses and give the people the option of seeing the horse the hair came from. What a wonderful gift for a young girl for her birthday or Christmas. A horse hair bracelet with a card with information of how to go to our webpage and see the exact pony that her bracelet had come from. Isnt that a great way to share?
